How to display Developer tab in Microsoft Excel?

Microsoft Excel provides a wide range of options for Excel users. Microsoft Excel allows to create the Macros and run the existing Macros in Excel. To do this, there are controls added in the Developer tab; and this has to be visible in order to use them from the Developer tab.

The following steps explain how to display the Developer tab in Microsoft Excel 2007. So, once the Developer tab is displayed; we can create new macros and run the existing ones.

Step (1): Open Microsoft Excel 2007 and click on the Office Button Microsoft Office Button (which is in the top-left corner of the Excel window). Once you click on Office Button, it will display the Menu.

Step (2): Now click on the Excel Options button; it will display the Excel Options dialog window.

Step (3): In the Excel Options dialog, click on the Popular tab which is in the left panelist. It will display the most popular options in Excel.

Step (4): Now select the Show Developer tab in the Ribbon checkbox which is under Top options for working with Excel group.

Step (5): Now click on the OK button to save your changes. Now you can see the Developer tab in Microsoft Excel. When you click on the Developer tab, it will display the options to run/create the macros.
