How to put Concrete5 based website into maintenance mode?

You can easily put your Concrete5 based website into maintenance mode when you have any back-end maintenance activities for your website. Concrete5 provides a simple and easy-to-use interface to allow you to put Concrete5 based website into maintenance mode; below are the steps.

This article applies to:

  • Concrete5 v5.x

Step (1). Log in to your Concrete5 based website’s dashboard as an administrator.

Step (2). Click on the Dashboard icon which is on top of the page. It will display a Dashboard.

Step (3). From Dashboard, click on System & Settings link. It will display System & Settings window.

Step (4). Click on the Maintenance Mode link. It will display the Maintenance Mode window.

Step (5). Now select Enable radio button. Click on the Save button to save your changes. Once it is saved successfully it will display the message “Maintenance Mode turned on. Your site is now private.”.

Step (6). Now your Concrete5 based website is in maintenance mode. Open another browser and type your website’s URL and you will see the following message.
