How to Colorize the Image using CBN Selector 3?
CBN Selector 3 is the powerful visualization software from CBN Systems Technology. With CBN Selector 3 you can color your own digital pictures. This is really suitable to paint your house pictures with different colors, to identify what colors are suitable to your house before painting the house.
The following steps explain how to Colorize your digital pictures using CBN Selector 3.
Step (1): Open the CBN Selector 3 application. Click on File -> Open menuitem to open your digital picture.
Step (2): Once your selected picture is opened in CBN Selector 3; now you can see 3 tabs left side of your selected picture.
- Original Tab
- Prepare Tab and
- Colorize Tab
Step (3): Before paint the digital picture, you need to first Prepare it for paint. Original Tab will display the original selected digital pictutre. Prepare Tab allows to prepare the digital picture to Colorize. And Colorize Tab will allows to select the colors and apply them on digital picture. Without Prepare it is not possible to Colorize the digital picture.
Step (4): Prepare the Digitacl Picture: This step is important in order to Colorize the digital picture. Follow the below steps to Prepare the digital picture to Colorize.
- Create SmartImage Areas. You must create SmartImage Areas before apply the colors to the digital picture. SmartImage Areas are the user-defined areas where to apply the colors on the digital piture. You can view the SmartImage Areas from SmartImage Areas window.
- SmartImage Areas can be created/updated using the tools (ex: Polygon Marquee Tool) in Toolbox window.
- Once you created the SmartImageAreas, select the colors you want to apply using Harmonies (or) Fandecks. Select the colors from Harmonies (or) Fandecks drag & drop them on SmartImage Areas.
Now the digital picture is prepared with colors to apply. Next step is to apply the colors.
Step (5): Colorize the Digital Picture: This step will actually apply the selected colors on selected digital picture. Keep in mind that this tool will apply the colors only on the selected image areas.
Step (6): Once the colorized digital image is ready you can export it into BMP (or) JPG format by selecting File->Export menuitem.

How to use uToolbox File Encoder Tool?
µToolbox File Encoder tool is very useful tool which allows to encode / decode the content of the files. Once the file is encoded, it is not possible to read / execute the file until the file is decoded back.
The following steps cover the usage of powerful File Encoder Tool.
Encoding the file
Step (1) Click on File->Encode menu item.
Step (2) Click on the icon next to “File to encode” edit box and select the file to encode from the File Open dialog.
Step (3) Observe that File Encoder Application will display the selected file size on top of “File to encode” edit box. Make sure you selected the application of size > or = 1MB. If the file size is < 1MB, File Enocoder Application will not encode the files.
Step (4) Now select the folder where you want to copy the encoded file by clicking the icon next to “Encode the file into the folder” edit box.
Step (5) Click on Encode button to start encoding the application.
Step (6) Once the encoding is done, observer the file is encoded into the file extension ".~fe" in the selected destination folder.
Decoding the file
Step (1) Click on File->Decode menu item to decode the encoded file. Keep in mind that File Encoder Application will decode only the files which are encoded through this application.
Step (2) Click on the icon next to “File to decode” edit box and select the "~.fe" file to decode from the File Open dialog.
Step (3) Select the destination folder where you want to put the decoded file by clicking the folder icon next to “Decode the file into the folder” edit box.
Step (4) Click on Decode button to start decoding the application.
Step (5) Once the decoding is done, observe the file is decoded into the selected destination folder.
Click on Close button to close the File Encoder Application.

How to use uToolbox Color Picker Tool?
µToolbox provides free useful software tools.
The following steps explain how to use uToolbox's Color Picker Tool.
Step (1) Drag the Picker tool and place it on the area to pick the color. While dragging the tool, it will pick the color and display the preview of the Color.
Step (2) The color value displays in HTML, Win32 and C++ color formats. To change the color format, select entries from the combo box under Color Value group.
Step (3) uToolbox Color Picker Tool displays RGB color components of the selected color. Modify the RGB color components will display the updated color in color preview control.
Step (4) Click on Close button to close the uToolbox Color Picker Tool window.
