Step (1): Click on the Developer tab in Microsoft Excel; it will display the Developer tab. If the Developer tab is not visible, read the article How to display Developer tab in Microsoft Excel? to display the Developer tab.
Step (2): In the Developer tab, click on the Insert button under the Controls group. It will display the list of Form Controls.
Step (3): Click on Combo Box (Form Control). Now the mouse pointer will change to cross-hairs (or) plus symbol. Now click on the cell where you want to insert the selected control in the sheet.
Step (4): Adjust the control sizes by re-sizing the borders. Now it will display the Combo Box (or) Drop Down List Box in Excel Sheet.
Step (5): Select the control and right-click and select Format Control… option from the pop-up menu. It will display Format Control tabbed dialog box.
Step (6): Under the Control tab, select Input range: field and provide the cell range for Combo Box values. These values will display when we click on the Combo Box.
