Step (1). Log in to the control panel where you hosted the Joomla site to update the site files.
Step (2). Go to templates folder. You will find the template folders here. Now open the template folder which is currently active on your Joomla site. For eg: if you are using protostar template, you have to open protostar folder.
Step (3). Now open the file index.php and look for <div class=”footer”> footer section.
Step (4). Now make the changes whatever you want in the footer section and save your changes. Once you refresh your webpage, you will see the changes what you made.
