Horde Web mail edition is an enterprise ready, browser based communication suite useful to send and organize email messages.
This article applies to:
- Horde 3.3.13
- Horde Groupware 5.2.14
Step (1). Log in into Horde.
Step (2). Click on Filters icon on top of the page. It will display Existing Rules page.
- In Horde Groupware 5.2.14, you can access Filters from Mail menu option on top of the page.
Step (3). Click on New Rule button to create a rule. It will display Filter Rules page.
Step (4). Provide rule name under Rule Name: field. From Select a field combo, select Subject field, if you want to create a rule based on the text in Subject field. And add the text in the text box.
- You can create the rule based on the text in other fields also; like From: , To: , CC: , BCC: fields etc.,. Each can be consider as a condition. You can create the rule based on these multiple conditions. For each condition, you need to select a field & enter the text the field contains / doesn’t contains to satisfy the condition.
- The rule can be satisfied either multiple conditions are satisfied OR any one of the condition is satisfied. This can be achieved by selecting “ALL of the following” OR “ANY of the following” option buttons.
Step (5). From Do this: combo, select appropriate value. If you want to delete all the messages contains mentioned text in the Subject line, you need to select “Delete message completely” value.
Step (6). Click on Save button to save your changes.
Step (7). To apply your filter, click on Apply Filters button.
Once you apply the filter, all the messages with the given text in the Subject line will be deleted.
