“The Logo Creator” is a standalone application used to create logos. “The Logo Creator” uses text and image elements to create the logos. It maintains the z-order to place the elements in the logo. So elements can be moved from front to back and vice versa. “The Logo Creator” application saves the logos into the “.tlc” extension. It also allows exporting the logos into different file formats.
Below are the steps to create a simple logo and export the logo to a different file format.

Step (1). Open “The Logo Creator” application.
Step (2). Click on the File menu and then select New menu item. It will open a canvas to allow you to design or create a logo.
Step (3). It displays three windows.
- The left side window is used to display the selected element’s attributes and allows to modify the selected element.
- The top window, the “Element Setter” window is for selecting either Text or Image elements. Logos in the “The Logo Creator” application are created based on these elements.
- The bottom window is the canvas window where we place the logo elements and prepare the logos.
Step (4). Select the Images tab from the “Element Setter” window (Top window). It will display the list of image elements.
- Click on the “Select more logo objects here…” combo box and select the image set. It will display all the images related to the selected image set, in the “Element Setter” window.

Step (5). Now select the object you want to use and drag it and place it in the canvas window (Bottom window).
Step (6). Select the object from the Canvas window; Object Menu will be displayed in the left side window. This window allows altering the selected object. You can change the color, rotate, scale and you can also apply any special effects to the selected object.
Step (7). Once you made the changes to the selected object, now click on the Text tab in the “Element Setter” window. This allows typing the text for Text objects. Once you type the text you want to use for the logo, click on the “Add New Text” button. This text will be added to the canvas.
Step (8). Select the added text from canvas and it will display Text Menu in the left side window to allow to modify the look and feel of the displayed text.
Step (9). Once you made your changes, click on the File menu and then select the Save menu item to save your logo into a file. “The Logo Creator” saves the logo file with the extension “.tlc“.
Step (10). “The Logo Creator” application allows exporting your logo to different file formats. Click on the Export menu and then select the format you want to export your logo. Your logo will be saved into the selected file format.
