How to open Programs and Features (OR) Add Remove Programs window in Windows Operating System?

Windows Operating System will display all the installed applications/updates in the “Programs and Features” window to allow the users to uninstall/repair the installed software.

This article applies to:

• Window 7 Operating System

Follow the below steps to open the “Programs and Features” window.

Step (1). Click on the Windows Start button.

Step (2). Then select the Run… item from the Windows Start menu. It will open the Run dialog.

Step (3). Under Open: box enter appwiz.cpl and click on the OK button.

OR

Step (1). Click on the Windows Start button.

Step (2). Then select the Control Panel item from the Windows Start menu. It will open All Control Panel Items.

Step (3). Select the “Programs and Features” item from All Control Panel Items.

Now it will open the “Programs and Features” window with the list of software installed in the Windows Operating System.
