When you are browsing the internet, sometimes Internet Explorer will display the message “Only secure content is displayed”. It means your Internet Explorer browser is displaying only the secured content from the website you visited. This article explains how to disable Internet Explorer to stop showing the message “Only secure content is displayed” and allows the browser to display both secured and non-secured content or display secured content without prompting the user to display non-secure content.

Step (1). Open Internet Explorer window.
Step (2). Click on the Tools menu and select the Internet Options menu item. It will open the “Internet Options” window.
Step (3). Click on the Security tab.
Step (4). Select the Internet icon from the “Select a zone to view or change security settings.” section.
Step (5). Click on Custom Level… button. It will open the “Security Settings – Internet zone” window.
Step (6). Under theĀ Settings section, scroll down and find out the “Display mixed content” item which is under the Miscellaneous group.
Step (7). Select Enable if you want to display the non-secure content also. Otherwise, select Disable; which will not display non-secure content. Prompt will prompt you “Show all Content” box, whenever it finds any non-secure content. This article is about to stop prompting the “Show all Content” box; so select either Enable/Disable.
Step (8). Click on the OK button to save your changes.
Step (9). It will prompt you with a warning “Are you sure you want to change the settings for this zone?”. Click on the “Yes” button.
Step (10). Again click on the OK button from the “Internet Options” window.
Step (11). Restart your Internet Explorer browser to reflect your changes.
After making the changes to Enable/Disable your Internet Explorer browser will not prompt theĀ “Show all Content” message.
