Oxwall 1.x: How to Show or Hide Newsfeed content on index page?

Oxwall’s Newsfeed Plugin is used to display the content on the index page. Depending on your website requirements you can show or hide some of the content types newsfeed Plugin displays on the index page. In this article, I am going to explain how to show or hide newsfeed content on the index page.

Step 1. Sign in to your Oxwall based website as an administrator and go to the “Admin Dashboard” page.

Step 2. Click on the Plugins icon. Oxwall will display the Plugins page.

Step 3. Under the “Installed Plugins” section, move the mouse over Newsfeed Plugin and click on the Settings link. Oxwall will display the Newsfeed page.

Step 4. The newsfeed page will display two tabs. One is the Settings tab and the other is the Content tab.

Step 4.1. On Settings tab; check or uncheck the items you want to show or hide on index page.

Step 4.2. Once you made the changes click on Save button.

Step 4.3. Click on Content tab; check or uncheck the content type you want to show or hide on index page.

Step 4.4. Once you made the changes click on Save button.

Remember that the changes will affect new content only.

Open the index page and observe whether your changes are working fine or not.
